Prince George Online Job Fair to Connect Local Employers with Skilled New Canadians Living in Metro Vancouver

Cost-effective way to connect with potential candidates.

By IEC-BC

Initiatives Prince George (IPG) to host its second Prince George Online Job Fair on November 19, 2013 to connect local employers with skilled new Canadians who are living in Metro Vancouver and are willing to move for work. Access to skilled workers and a diversified workforce has been identified as a significant issue faced by growing Prince George companies.

The Online Job Fair gives local employers a cost-effective way to connect with potential candidates who have the right skills for positions that they have not been able to fill locally. Job seekers will be able to review each participating company and the positions that are being offered before the event and to submit resumes and request interviews.

This project is made possible by the Immigrant Employment Council of BC. Funding is provided by the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia.
