About Us

hireimmigrants.ca provides businesses with the tools and resources they need to better recruit, retain and promote skilled immigrants. The site also profiles good examples and innovative practices of employers across the country.

If you think your company should be profiled or know of a resource that should be listed, please send your feedback to info@hireimmigrants.ca. ALLIES reserves the right to select and post resources it deems relevant.

hireimmigrants.ca is managed by ALLIES, a project of Maytree and The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation. ALLIES acknowledges the effort of TRIEC in establishing hireimmigrants.ca in 2005 and its enhancements to the site since then. TRIEC will continue to add resources and updates that are relevant to the Greater Toronto Area, while ALLIES focuses on increasing the national content on the site.

ALLIES
Assisting Local Leaders with Immigrant Employment Strategies (ALLIES) brings local stakeholders together and supports them in providing practical solutions to enable their communities to use the talents of un- and underemployed skilled immigrants. The project provides the information, learning and funding required by communities to adapt and implement successful approaches used by multi-stakeholder initiatives across the country, such as the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC). If you are interested in getting involved with your community's initiative, please visit ALLIES.
